Final report
If your son/daughter is under age 18 years of age at the time he/she attends the course the Parental Consent form must be completed for students 16 & 17 years of age. BCC must receive a completed Parental Consent form before your child commences our vacation course. This form provides essential emergency contact information for parent/guardian. The Parental Consent form can be downloaded here: CONSENT FORM
It is essential that your son/daughter understands that he/she must accept the regulations concerning “Student Conduct and Discipline” and permission to go out without supervision as agreed by the Parent/Guardian.
Failure to observe and follow the requirements of “Student Conduct” explained in the Student Handbook may result in the student being returned home before the end of the course.
Our BCC Summer Vacation Programme is designed for young people (16-17 years olds) who want to be more confident with their use of the English language and spend their vacation period in a lively international atmosphere with other international students whose levels of English are similar.
The BCC Summer Vacation Programme consists of 20 lessons per week and lessons will be integrated with our General English course 20. Your son/daughter will study all key study areas: listening, speaking, reading, writing, grammar and vocabulary, which are covered through tuition in the core sessions. Our students will be taught by experienced teachers, who encourage participation and interaction between members of the group.
Regular homework and self-study activities will be provided to help students to consolidate the knowledge they have learnt in class.
The teachers use a range of different methods and activities to help students learn and use the language more efficiently. In addition to a core course book, a range of supplementary materials and activities are used to provide additional practice.
We monitor students’ progress through weekly formative tests and regular tutorials, which are designed to help the teachers to identify students’ learning needs and highlight progress.
